pSummer is here, which means its time to see some live music.nbsp; Seeing a concert in the summertime is great because the shows are usually outside, which is much more fun, at least in my opinion, than seeing a show inside a coliseum of arena.nbsp; My favorite summer concerts are those that I either attend with a large group of friends or those in which my favorite songs are played.nbsp; I can control whether or not I go to a show with friends; I cannot, however, control which songs the band chooses to play.nbsp; Hearing a particular song is never guaranteed.nbsp; I will say, however, that it never hurts to have a good attitude and a little luck!nbsp; Keep reading to learn about three ways of increasing your chances of hearing your favorite tune at a show.nbsp; While these methods will increase the likelihood of hearing that special song, keep in mind there are no guarantees.nbsp;/p

p style=text-align: left;br /nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; So often when I go to concerts I see innocent children and eager teenagers holding up poster boards on which are written the names of the songs they want to hear.nbsp; In my opinion, poster board just isnt enough to get a bands attention.nbsp; For the concerts that I have attended this summer, I have been bringing with me a large custom banner with the words of my favorite songs written in bold, shiny lettering. nbsp; Custom banners are great for concerts because they roll up, travel easily and theyre waterproof.nbsp; The fact that custom banners are waterproof is great because every now and then it will rain at a show, and even in those situations I still get to make my song request.br /br /ATTACH YOUR a title=CUSTOM BANNER href=http://www.signsrus.com target=_blankCUSTOM BANNER/a TO LONG POLES ON EACH ENDbr /br /nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Custom banners dont serve much purpose unless they are high enough in the air for the band to see them.nbsp; Thus, you need to get creative if you want the band to see your vinyl banner.nbsp; It must be your lucky day, though, because I have a solution!nbsp; Just include sleeve pockets on either end of the vinyl banner.nbsp; These pockets are important because they allow you to attach long plastic poles to the custom banner which you can then use to hold the vinyl banner high up in the sky.nbsp; This eliminates your height (or lack thereof) from playing a factor in whether or not you get to hear your favorite song./p
pMAKE YOUR BANNER BRIGHT AND FLASHYbr /br /nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; I have found that using wild and crazy colors and lettering gives me a better shot at getting the bands attention.nbsp; Similar to the male peacock, who raises his beautiful tail feathers as a way of attracting a mate, you want to get a bands attention with bright colors and fancy lettering.nbsp; I once brought a vinyl banner with me to a show that was so elaborately decorated that the lead singer of the band singled me out from the thousands of people at the concert and told me I had a great custom banner.nbsp; The band then played my favorite song, which I will remember for the rest of my life!br /br /GOOD LUCK TO YOU, FRIENDbr /br /nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; So there are my three recommendations.nbsp; Like I said earlier, these methods dont always work, but they sure increase your odds.nbsp; Now get out there and go to as many concerts as you can, and dont forget your a title=custom banner href=http://www.signsrus.com/info_vinyl_banners.php target=_blankcustom banners/a!/p
